| Welcome to Manatee County Young Republicans!
Young Republicans are young professionals that are registered Republican between the ages of 18 and 40.
The MCYR has established itself as the premier Republican grassroots organization in the state of Florida, providing essential grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on the local, state and national levels.
The MCYR has a solid record of producing future Republican Party leaders - including Lieutenant Governors, Congressmen, State Senators, State Representatives and nationally recognized campaign consultants. Through recruiting, training and mobilizing people, the MCYR presents an opportunity for ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Through community involvement in political issues, charitable projects and participation in political campaigns, YRs work to improve the world in which we live.
While the YRs are best known for political activism and service to our communities, YR events also provide a great opportunity for interaction amongst membership. This interaction allows for the exchange of ideas, networking, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The YRs provide different opportunities for different people. No matter what your long-term goals may be, the YRs serve as the building blocks for a successful future.

Bryan Tupper - President

Bryan Tupper became involved in Republican politics at a young age when he helped to get his Grandfather elected to a city supervisor position. As time progressed, his interest in politics grew. At 18-years-old, he became the youngest ever member of the Manatee County Republican Executive Committee and joined the Manatee County Young Republicans. He has been a Congressional Intern at the local level and in Washington D.C. In 2009, he served as a delegate to the Young Republican National Convention in Indianapolis, IN. Later that year, he was selected to be the Chair of the prestigious Platform Committee for the Florida Federation of Young Republicans. In early February 2010, he was elected unanimously as President of the MCYR's. |

Rochelle Dudley - Vice President

Rochelle moved to Manatee County two years ago from Tampa, where she was a small business owner, member of the Tampa Bay Young Republicans and volunteer with the Hillsborough County Republican Party. She worked as a field director for Congressman Buchanan during his campaign for re-election in 2008, and currently works as a campaign manager and consultant to local candidates. In addition, she serves on the board of directors of several local non-profits, including SOLVE Maternity Homes, American Red Cross – Southwest Florida Chapter, Artist Guild of Manatee and the Literacy Council of Sarasota |

James came to Manatee County from Kentucy in 2002 and is a realtor with the Adkins Florida Group. He is an active member of many local organizations, including the Manatee Association of Realtors, Habitat for Humanity, Hernando DeSoto Historical Society, Realtor Political Involvement Committee (RPIC) and the Realtor Political Action Committee (RPAC). |
